Wow… This 6 day trek left me speechless and I am glad I lived all in the moment. From no service, no phones, & no crowds, it felt like we had the mountains to ourselves.. We trekked Salkantay & Augusante which aren’t the famous routes but, after these photos I believe perspectives will change. Andeans say “The mountains and rivers are alive and full of life” and after being immersed and surrounded by this beauty I can’t agree more. I had a feeling I’ve never felt before trekking & each day with my soul was filled with inspiration. I felt as if my mind was floating the whole time. 15,000 FT+ up averaging 10 miles a day but, with pain theres beauty and the more difficult, the more beautiful.
